Verizon announced today that they will launch “Full Transparency by Verizon.” The initiative will be powered by “a blockchain-based, open-source newsroom product designed to raise the bar for corporate accountability.” This will transform how users can track changes made to public announcements on their newsroom. “Full Transparency is an unmistakable stake in the ground for transparency and tech-forward thinking by a leading corporation” comments made by Marc Maleh, a Group Vice President of Emerging Experiences at Huge. Full Transparency is a part of the “Citizen Verizon” initiative which is tasked with driving a responsible business agenda that includes economic, social, and environmental advancements.
